Applying a cool compress and avoiding strenuous activity for 24 hours helps your results settle flawlessly. We recommend skipping alcohol, saunas, and direct sun exposure for the first day or two to minimize swelling. Keep your skin clean, hydrated, and protected with SPF, and let your radiant new look shine through naturally. We also want you to know: - Tylenol may be taken before or after the procedure to ease mild discomfort. - Avoid manipulation or touching the area for the first hour after treatment. - After one hour, you may apply light makeup, but we advise being gentle and with limited pressure to the injection site areas. - Avoid stooping, straining or lying down for 4 hours after the treatment. - Avoid strenuous activity for at least 24 hours after the treatment. - No facials for 1 week following the treatment. - Touch-ups may be desired after 2 weeks, so an appointment can be made after day 8. - The benefits last between 6 months to 2 years depending on the brand and type of filler you receive.
